Up nice and early, we headed over to the Woehrle’s house to pick up the bridesmaids for a day of pampering with our bride, Heather. Dermot was lucky enough to avoid manis and pedis and went to play 18 at Westwood as a “Son in Law” (where he shot an 86 from the tips). Katie enjoyed her day thoroughly at the spa with Heather and her maids, as well as their lunch at Eiffel Tower in downtown Leesburg, VA.
We checked into the Best Western and got ready for the Rehearsal starting at the Heather's parent'sHouse at 4pm. The set up for the wedding was perfect—with the ceremony, cocktails, and reception all being in a circle around the house on the Potomac River. We were hoping for no rain and nice weather for the big day tomorrow!
We headed over to dinner in downtown Leesburg where we enjoyed a bbq themed dinner with root beer floats for dessert. Deeeelish! After the rehearsal dinner, we all went to Shenanigans where we paid $5 cover to get into a bar in a strip mall…. Hilarious. There was a fun band, smoking in the bar (eek), plenty of locals to teach of Olympic level darts, and a big screen to watch the Yankees… loose in extra innings.
